Ultra-slimming blue jeans washed with ‘air’ sparing as much as 920 gallons of water and caustic chemicals per each pair of jeans made. GreenJeans uses the same denim and construction as our slimming SkinnyJeans but with a radical new wash called ‘bone structure’ which literally photoshops the body. Lean and green!!
The dirty secret in the denim industry is that denim washes require tremendous amounts of water and caustic chemicals in order to break down and prepare raw denim for wear—it must be softened and, where an aged or ‘vintage’ look is sought, caustic chemicals must be used. In short, dyeing and ‘finishing’ denim is outright harmful to the environment.
hello! SkinnyJeans wanted to address the environmental impact of blue jeans manufacture so began searching a year ago for organic cotton and organic dyes, which are made in India by workers stomping on indigo plants in vats of water to extract the dye from the plant. We tried many different organic cotton denims, some naturally dyed and some synthetically dyed, but never found an organic denim with a fine hand and good color and certainly were not able to find stretch denim. Since we refused to compromise neither the performance aspect of our slimming jeans nor the beauty of the deep color, and since by far the biggest offender in denim manufacture is washing and finishing jeans rather than growing cotton, we turned to a new ‘air wash’ technique to provide a solution.
The air wash technique completely avoids the use of caustic chemicals and requires minimal exposure of the jeans to water during the process. This prevents the return of thousands of gallons of polluted wash-water back into the environment and drastically cuts down on energy use for each batch of jeans washed.
After numerous attempts to get the wash right and avoid the cookie cutter ‘distressed’ look as everyone else, hello!Skinny GreenJeans finally found their inspiration, while looking through Facebook and observing how everyone photoshopped their profile pix. And so in order to create a wash that photoshops the body, they developed a radical and effective wash which shaves inches off your hips and thighs and stretches the length of the legs by manipulating dark and light areas of the wash

SkinnyJeans were designed to tackle every possible way to make blue jeans more slimming and flattering. Made from denim with a beefy stretch to hold you in and create memory- it sucks everything in and never sags, bags or grows by the end of the day.
The thighs are very scooped out which drastically separates and slims the thighs and pushes the butt out creating a shapely silhouette.
The inseams are drawn forward on the leg making it appear that there is less 'real estate" on the front of the leg
The inside non-stretch cotton pocketing lining the front pockets so when the jeans are zipped up a restraining 
panel is created that pushes the entire stomach area in.
The fading and shading pattern on the jeans creates an optical illusion front and back to slim the leg. The inside and outside seams are darkened to make the thighs appear slimmer. The sides of the hips are darker so the hips appear narrower. The buttocks are faded slightly but darker on the hips seams and at the top of the thighs creating 'shape' and making the back of the leg look slimmer. The front of the leg is slightly faded down the middle making the leg appear longer., Additionally, barely-visible whiskering above the natural leg break tricks the eye into seeing longer legs (as opposed to most jeans with patterns that the hips look wider and thighs bigger)
The cut is barely bootcut: this balance the shape of the thigh to the ankle making your thighs appear as slim as possible and legs as long as possible.
The size, shape and placement of the pockets are solely to make the butt appear smaller and shapelier, rather than exaggerated designs and unflattering pockets as many other jeans
SkinnyJeans have a medium rise with contoured stretch waistband.
SkinnyJeans come in inseams to 37". And because the design is so successfully slimming, the jeans are made in sizes 24-32 and 34, 36 and 38.
