The Process begins with an incredible selection of beautiful eco friendly fabrics, which are a true delight this season with Hasaan's collection of Organic Cotton, Hempcel Hemp, Lyocell, and Organic Sateen. to execute the production of Hasaan's vision, WISB choose to have the garmenrs produced in the Haitian city, Port-a–Prince- creating jobs and vitality for a city overcoming the aftermath of the earthquake. And the inspiration doesn't stop there- Even the hangtags are eco! All natural hangtags that are also seeded so that you can literally plant then in the earth and they will grow. For such a clothing line that is 100% organic with care towards environmental and social responsibility, WISB choose the lovely Mari Malek as the model for his Spring 2012 lookbook, who is also known as the inspiring co-founder of Southern Sudan Initiatives, a non-profit organization that provide various methods of support to the people of South Sudan, with a particular focus on reuniting families of the Lost Boys and Girls and empowering them with knowledge and other resources to foster sustainable development.
