In the long tradition of some of the oldest shopkeepers in Brooklyn, Brooklyn Denim Company opens as far more than a vanity project or hobby for its' three seasoned founders; rather, it opens as a store with eyes on the very story of it's neighborhood.
The result of friendship and foresight, the BDC partners have made it their mission to provide their customers with both a surprisingly vast array of denim from vintage classics to young designers, and complementing apparel such as leather jackets, shirts, and belts as well as an old-fashioned hands-on shopping experience in which each customer's needs are accessedand addressed— often by the owners themselves.
Located in the heart of Williamsburg, Brooklyn Denim Co. is the only shop exclusively dedicated to the sale of denim in the area. But less a simple outlet for jeans, and more a denim haberdashery, Brooklyn Denim Co. focuses on purveying that which expresses the rich culture of Williamsburg and its' surroundings. What's more, the debut of the BDC'soriginal denim line is imminent—and like that which it purveys, so too will Brooklyn Denim Company Jeans serve as a window into the uniquely American and rich texture of theneighborhood it celebrates.
