In 2006, Caitlin Mociun began her signature line with a small collection of hand printed women's garments. Her style quickly caught on in the fashion community as season after season she continues to dazzle us with her fantastic prints interpreted into dreamy feminine fabrics and fun easy to wear silhouettes. Valuing sustainable production and business practices as much as design, Caitlin works to use recycled, organic and alternative materials whenever possible , as well as favoring local production.
This fall envision the vast storybook picturesque landscapes of charming village and winding mazes. Enchanting patterns flow into dreamy silk crepe and georgette flouncy dress along with soft blouses. The lovely patterns have a touch a of whimsy paired with carefree denim skirts. there is also a modern fashion forward edge as the designs interplay perfectly with the collection's modern printed tees, more structured denim pants and dramatic wool cloaks. This fall is a turning point for the brand- as this is caitlin's final clothing collection- Mociun will devote all future lines to her textile prints and jewelry.
Mociun's jewelry this season is marked by a delicate use of geometric shapes accented with diamonds and turquoise. Moving forward with sustainable practices, all jewelry is made from recycled gold and silver. The diamonds are for the most part taken from antique collections of scraped jewelry and the turquoise ,originally from a large piece form the Southwest, is cut by local stone cutters.
Always rich in texture, pattern and detail, Mociun is a collection of statement pieces and accessories. It's a fabulous eco friendly line with originality, versatility and style.
