Michal Negrin has been creating Victorian inspired whimsical designs in jewelry, home décor and clothing for more than two decades. Born in kibbutz Naan in 1957, surrounded by a strong sense of community, Michal always felt she was an individual with her own vision and drive to follow her inner passion for self-expression. In 1984 Michal married Meir Negrin, and their relationship developed both personally and professionally, serving as the spark that set the foundation for the Michal Negrin brand. In 1988 the couple launched their first collection at Tel Aviv’s famed open-air marketplace, a breeding ground for emerging design talent. Soon afterwards, the couple opened their first small shop in the fashionable shopping district of Sheinkin. Designed to convey a familial, residential atmosphere, it is this cozy shop that has served as the international inspiration and model for the brand’s subsequent locations.
Inspired by mixing the old and the new and color combinations, Michal Negrin personally designs every piece of jewelry, home decor and clothing that carries her name. She uses a variety of techniques to craft her pieces and believes in blending styles, schools, designs and colors to create her unique neo-Victorian and vintage style. Michal Negrin believes that when someone buys one of her creations, it is revered as an item to be enjoyed for a lifetime. Michal Negrin's designs are crafted meticulously by hand from the finest materials and components. The high-quality raw materials are carefully selected and include crystals, imported lace and vintage photographs in addition to components created by Michal herself. In her quest to explore and expand on her own vision, she has become a design inspiration to designers around the world. Michal follows her hart when she designs and comes up with new styles.She does not follow trends but follow her rare abilities and natural intuitions. Michal truly believes in every thing she does and it can be noticed just by looking at the way she dress and the environment she lives in.
Michal believes in giving women all over the world the right accessories to express their personality, strength and femininity.
Michal and her husband, Meir, who is the company’s Managing Director, currently have forty one stores throughout the world including destinations in Europe, Japan and North America. Aggressive expansion of Michal Negrin and multiple store openings are currently underway, with openings planned 5 to 6 shops in 2007 in Europe, Asia and the U.S.A.

The studio and the manufacturing plant:
Michal Negrin's designs are crafted meticulously by hand from the finest materials and component.
Currently there are about 200 employees: 40 in management, creative and marketing and 160 in production.
Each of the company's 160 artisans is carefully and personally selected and trained by Michal Negrin in the delicate process of mounting and hand painting the jewelry and decorative items. The high quality raw materials are carefully selected and include crystals, imported lace and vintage photographs in addition to components created by Michal herself. All of the design and production of all off Michal's articles takes place in the plant out side of Tel Aviv. In the 30,000 sq feet premises there are different department which are able to provide all that is necessary to create Michal's designs: Graphic department, fashion design department, fabric printing department, casting department, ceramic department, production department and a show room which exhibits the various collections and the development of the company.
Brands: The boutiques feature the brand’s over-the-top jewelry, extraordinary gift items, fashion items and stylish home décor. There are currently 53 stores throughout the world in key locations such as: Las Vegas, Miami, Sydney, Tokyo, Madrid, Paris, Prague, Jerusalem and Tel Aviv.
